Privacy
Domov is a small product run by one person, and it collects as little about you as it can get away with. This page says exactly what that is, why it is held, and how to get rid of it.

Who is responsible for your data
Domov is operated by the trader named at the bottom of this page. For UK GDPR purposes that trader is the data controller for everything described here. You can reach us through the contact page.
What Domov collects
Your account
Your name, email address and a hashed password, so you can sign in and so we can email you about your account. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes – nobody here can read them.
The properties you save
When you save a listing, Domov keeps the link, the time, whether the save succeeded and how complete the extracted result was. That record is what your credit balance, your dashboard history and any refund claim are worked out from.
The property details themselves – the address, the price, the photo, everything you asked to be extracted – are written into your spreadsheet, in your own Google Drive or OneDrive. They are not kept in a Domov database of listings.
Payments
Card payments are handled entirely by Square. Your card number never reaches our servers and is never stored by us. We keep only what a receipt needs: the amount, the currency, the plan, the time, and whether the payment succeeded.
Technical logs
Errors are logged so that failures can be fixed. A log entry can include the URL that failed, the account it belonged to and the error message. Logs are for debugging, not for profiling you.
What Domov does not do
- No advertising, and no selling or renting of your data to anyone.
- No third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
- No reading of anything else in your Google Drive or OneDrive. Access is limited to the spreadsheet you connected.
Who your data is shared with
Only the services Domov needs to work:
- Google and Microsoft – to write rows into the spreadsheet you chose.
- Square – to take payment.
- AI model providers – the listing page content is sent for extraction. The page is public listing content; your account details are not sent with it.
- Our email provider – to send verification, receipt and support emails.
- Our hosting and database providers – to run the service at all.
Each of these acts on our instructions. None of them is given your data to use for their own purposes.
How long it is kept
Account and save records are kept while your account exists. Payment records are kept for six years, because tax law requires it. Error logs are kept only as long as they are useful for debugging. Ask us to close your account and the rest is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to us on the contact page and we will answer within one month.
If you think your data has been mishandled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Domov sets cookies only for things the site cannot work without: keeping you signed in, and remembering an unfinished signup for 24 hours so you can pick it back up. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and account holders are told by email.
