Terms of service
The rules of using Domov, in plain English. Using the service means you accept them.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
The service
Domov takes a link to a UK property listing, extracts what it can about that property, and writes it as a row into a spreadsheet you own – a Google Sheet or an Excel file in OneDrive. That is the whole product.
Your account
You need an account to use Domov. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one household or team – please do not resell access.
You must be at least 18 to buy credits.
Credits
Saving a property costs one credit. Credits are bought in bundles and do not expire while your account is open. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged for money outside the refund terms below.
A save that fails outright is never charged. A save that succeeds but comes back nearly empty is charged, and that is exactly the case the refund rules exist for.
Refunds for a poor save
If a save produced almost nothing from a page that genuinely was a property listing, the credit comes back – automatically in clear cases, and by request from your dashboard otherwise. Requests are reviewed by a person.
This does not cover a link that was never a listing, or a listing that simply does not state the thing you were hoping for. Domov reports a field as unavailable rather than inventing it, and an honest "unavailable" is the service working.
Your right to cancel
Buying credits as a consumer is a distance contract, so you normally have 14 days to change your mind. Because credits are usable the moment they are bought, checkout asks you to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that doing so ends that cancellation right. If you do not agree, the 14-day right stands and is explained in your receipt. Either way, your receipt is the record of which applies.
What we do not promise
Domov reads pages published by other people on sites we do not control. Listings change, portals change their pages, and some details are simply not published anywhere.
- We do not guarantee that any particular field will be found.
- We do not guarantee that extracted information is accurate or current. Check anything that matters against the listing and the agent before you act on it.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. This is a small product, maintained alongside other work.
Nothing Domov produces is financial, legal or surveying advice.
Fair use
Please do not use Domov to break another site's terms, to scrape at industrial scale, to resell the output as a data product, or to attack the service. Accounts doing any of that can be suspended.
Your data and your spreadsheet
The spreadsheet is yours. If you stop using Domov, everything you gathered stays where it is, in your own Drive or OneDrive. Revoking Domov's access to it stops new rows being written and changes nothing that is already there.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud – no terms can. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a property you did or did not buy.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by any of this.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally unable to. Unused credits on an account we close without cause are refunded.
Changes
These terms can change. Material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
